Microsoft and Amazon are investing heavily in new GPU clusters, faster networking, larger storage systems, and intelligent load-balancing technologies to support millions of simultaneous players. Every improvement they make benefits not only gamers but also enterprise customers using Azure and AWS for artificial intelligence, analytics, and mission-critical business applications.

Although Luna currently trails Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming in market share, Amazon continues investing for the long term. The company has repeatedly demonstrated its willingness to grow businesses patiently, and cloud gaming appears to be following that same strategy.
